Pro MB XD 4L High-Performance Integral Membrane

PRO MBR XD is a high-performance, integrated membrane for interior and exterior use, providing waterproofing under tile and stone installations. PRO MBR XD creates a thin, continuous barrier that protects wet areas from water penetration, such as bathtub and shower enclosures, kitchens and preparation areas, laundry rooms, and balconies or terraces above unoccupied spaces. PRO MBR XD is also suitable for submerged applications, such as swimming pools, spas, whirlpools, fountains, and water features, and can act as a crack-resistant membrane when applied with PROMA's synthetic reinforcing mesh. PRO MBR XD is ready to use and is easily applied with a roller, brush, or trowel.

For waterproofing under tiled and stone floors, walls, and ceilings in institutional, commercial, and residential interior and exterior installations;

Use in damp areas, such as bathtub and shower enclosures, kitchens and preparation areas, laundry rooms, and balconies or decks above unoccupied spaces;
Suitable for submerged applications, such as swimming pools, spas, whirlpools, fountains, and water features (interior use only);
Use in steam rooms when used in conjunction with a vapor barrier membrane (refer to the TCNA manual, sections SR613 and SR614);
When used with PROMA synthetic reinforcing netting or reinforcing fabric, it isolates planar shrinkage cracks up to 3 mm (1/8″) wide;
Compatible with all polymer-modified cementitious adhesives; Premixed paste, ready to use and easy to apply with a roller, brush, or trowel;
Fast-drying formula for faster tile and stone installation;
Rated for heavy-duty use;
Adheres to properly prepared stainless steel, metal, and ABS drain assemblies;
Is not conducive to bacterial or mold growth;
VOC-free;
Low odor and non-flammable;
Exceeds ANSI A118.10 requirements for thin, load-bearing waterproofing;
Exceeds ANSI A118.12 requirements as a crack barrier when used in conjunction with PROMA Synthetic Reinforcing Mesh or Reinforcing Fabric;
Contributes to achieving LEED® objectives and requirements.
